Friday Cat Blogging: Jennifer Weber

Jennifer Weber, author of Copperheads: The Rise and Fall of Lincoln’s Opponents in the North, and Professor in the Department of History, University of Kansas, sent us this picture. This kitten has brightened my week and I hope he brightens your Friday!

Kit’s Lit

Lots of people enjoy Oxford’s books, but OUP’s fans aren’t limited to humans. Ike here has a deep interest in the Civil War, and OUP’s list slakes his thirst for knowledge.

Hah, just what I need, another possible post for my blog
    Cat.lovers.almanac.blogspot.com.
I think you’ll find it just the thing for a certain intellectual mood, since it is about books AND cats.

Ahem, cute kitten, gotta post again, since I put down the wrong url. Although my real reason is to correct the address of my blog (which I am pleased to see in your column comments,
((those are hyphens, though I typed periods, as in http://www.cat-lovers-almanac.blogspot.com))) let me justify a second note by pointing out Dr. Weber has picked a copper colored kitten to sit on her book about copperheads, pretty subtle. Thanks, Marsha Brown
