As we pointed out last September, getting past political candidates’ charisma, and to the heart of their leadership abilities, is no easy task. As political candidates rev up for the 2008 election we thought we would revisit one of our favorite books, The Allure of Toxic Leaders: Why We Follow Destructive Bosses and Corrupt Politicians- and How We Can Survive Them. In the following video Jean Lipman-Blumen, the author, talks about why the followers of destructive leaders are just as dangerous as the leaders themselves.
