The public life of Charles Dickens

Regarded as perhaps one of the most influential authors of his time, Charles Dickens has won the hearts of many with his writing, creating surprising plots and characters we love to love (and love to hate). Our Oxford World’s Classics reading group, in its third season, has chosen Dickens’s Great Expectations for discussion.
