I haven't read War & Peace, but my comment re: this blog is...how is it possible that the book introduces 100,000 characters but is only 1,500 pages long? That's approximately 67 per page. What????

Question: Is Tolstoy hinting that Prince Andrei's wife, Lisa, is having an affair with Kuragin?

Let me know what you think.

thanks.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for motivating me to finish this book which I started before Christmas. It's hard to keep track of all the characters without a flowchart! Pete and I will be discussing the book as we skype. Who will finish first?
Great seeing you and thanks for coming up to visit Pete while he was home.
