I did not realize there were women's groups opposed to this effort, but I can understand their apprehension facing life outside their homes. This would certainly be a different culture for them. I admire these brave, courageous women who stuck to their convictions for women to vote, work,and be independent. A well known expression that comes to mind is: "You've come a long way, baby!"
