A "shoe dog" is someone who works in the shoe industry. My dog, Bodhi, and Ammon's dog, Finnigan, love to play together in the park. After a year of polite, elevator like, NYC male social distancing, Ammon and I shared names and occupations. After a little googling, I find myself here - having been a "shoe dog" for 15 years, reading a blog about "shoe expresssion" written by my dog's best friend's owner. Coincidence? - I think not. Once upon a time, I was a “shoe dog”. A “shoe dog” is someone who works in the shoe industry.

Apparently a protester was arrested for threatening to throw a shoe at the Metropolitan Transit Authority president Elliott Sander for raising subway fares.
