Hi all,

I love collecting the classics, and had bought a few titles from penguin books, and one from Modern Library classics (which I returned because the quality of the book was so poor. The spine was thin and weak, the paper was horribly thin, etc. I am careful with my books, so my thinner penguin editions have held up well. Modern Library-never again.

I wanted to try purchasing my paperbacks from Oxford World's Classics next, but I was wondering what the quality is like. Are the new editions they make durable? I'm mostly interested in paper quality and a sturdy binding/spine.

I hope someone inform me as to the quality of the new oxford etitions.

Thanks!

True, mollymooly, very true. However, I still prefer to think that it was because we had a lot of closet Joycians in the audience. :)
