Annemarie apparently was unable to read the comment above that the GAO completely disproved the charges that the Clintons took things from the White House.

On Bill not claiming the office expense as
personal income, that is standard operating procedure under the tax code. How many CEOs do you know that claim report their office expenses as personal income to be taxed?

As a matter of fact as a self-employed individual I get to claim my home office expenses as a business expense.

To Mr.Murphy,
I quote from the bi-partisan Judicial Watch brochure, A Historic Record of Holding Bill & Hillary Clinton Accountable to the Law:

"Judicial Watch helped force Hillary & Bill Clinton, through a Senate Ethics Legal Complaint, to return SOME of the White House property and gifts which they illegally stole on their way out of office on 1.20.01"!!!!

These Clintons, common crooks, are a disgrace to the USA.

Under what theory does Clinton exclude all those perks from taxable income? How about under the theory of decency and restraint? At what point is enough enough?

The Clinton's can't hope to spend all of their money in their lifetime, yet he still seeks for more, ever more. I think ultimately he hopes to endow a perpetual Clinton memorial machine, one that will forever crank out useless papers attesting to his greatness.

How much money did Nixon make from writing books after he left the White House? George H. W. Bush was already rich--why did he get federal support?

Singling out Clinton for this is absurd; every other modern-era president has made or had access to plenty of money post-presidency as well.

Mr. Frasier apparently has forgotten that the Government Accountability Office (a non-partisan Congressional Agency) was asked to investigate this accusation and found that it had no basis.

Most citizens have also forgotten that when the Clintons left the White House, they took unprecedented action of removing everything that was not nailed down and I am sure they did not declare this "presidential bonus" on their tax return either.
