		<description>It&#039;s interesting that Shea mentions that the OED had arcs, if not a plot. A.J. Jacobs mentions exactly the same thing in The Know-It-All, which is based on a similar premise (he reads the entire Encylopaedia Britannica). I wonder if it reflects a human tendency to make sense of the world and connect things that really have no meaning.</description>
