I just copied your whole text into a Word 2007 document and I realized that the Office 2007 contextual speller you mention does flag all the examples of &quot;along way&quot; and &quot;along time&quot; in the sentences you quote. Even &quot;along&quot; gets nice blue squiggles in your last sentence (not by along shot). I&#039;m relieved: these mistakes are no longer that spellcheck-proof! :-)
