What Makes Us Who We Are: The Personality Survey

Our personalities and what makes us the people we are is an endless source of fascination for me. So imagine my excitement about our book Personality: What Makes You the Way You Are, which is publishing later this year. Author Daniel Nettle, who teaches psychology at the University of Newcastle, has put together a short multiple-choice questionnaire to give a rapid, but accurate, snapsnot of what you are like.

nettle_personality.jpgIn conjunction with the British Association for the Advancement of Science (or the BA for short), we at OUP are asking for as many people as possible to take the survey. The results will then be analysed by some clever science bods, and in September I’ll be able to bring you the detailed results. The survey is global, so you can take part from anywhere in the world, and one of the ways the results will be analysed will be by country so we’ll be able to pick out the different traits of us Brits versus our American cousins, not to mention every other country.

So, are you a ‘worrier’ or a ‘wanderer’? Head over to the Personality Survey and find out!
