Food, Wine and Photos

Oxford University Press celebrated the publications of The Oxford Companion to Wine, 3rd Edition edited by Jancis Robinson and The Oxford Companion to Food, 2nd Edition edited by Alan Davidson and Tom Jaine, by throwing a launch event at the Institute of Culinary Education on Tuesday, October 24th. Foodies and Oenophiles from around Manhattan were there to share in the food and wine pairings personally selected by Robinson and Jaine.

Tom Jaine and Jancis Robinson also signed copies of The Oxford Companion to Food, 2nd Edition and The Oxford Companion to Wine, 3rd Edition respectively at the Williams-Sonoma in the Time Warner Building on Thursday, Oct. 26th. Paired appetizers and wines were served. Prior to the book signings Tom Jaine led a special culinary demonstration and Jancis Robinson led a talk about editing the 3rd Edition and 3 wines of her choosing. Wines were provided by Jade Mountain, Edna Valley Vineyard, and Canoe Ridge Vineyard.
